Inspired by the ‘white gold’ that appears occasionally on Scottish beaches and the alchemy of time & tide, The Grudge finds beauty in the unexpected: the journey of ambergris from the craw of the sperm whale, rolled on the tide, retrieved from a beach and tinctured into a bottle. A metaphor for the alchemy of presence.

The fragrance is created by perfumer Euan McCall

The perfume family: marine, woody, oriental

Top notes: wormwood, frankincense, copal

Heart notes: seaweed, tea, calamus

Base notes: tobacco, oakmoss, oud, labdanum, amber, musk
